America’s Homeowner Alliance Privacy Policy

At America’s Homeowner Alliance (AHA), maintaining your trust is our top priority. We are committed to protecting your privacy and want to make sure that you understand how your membership information is used. We also want you to be aware that you have choices about how we use this information.

Therefore, we do not sell or rent nonpublic personal information about our members or former members and we do not share non-public personal information about our members or former members with companies outside of AHA, except where required or permitted by law. We carefully manage and safeguard information within our organization, based on your membership or other relationships with AHA, in order to provide you with outstanding service, convenience and value.

Sources from which we may collect nonpublic information about you include: information we receive from you on applications or other forms, whether by telephone, by electronic means including e-mail and our website, or by other means of communication; information resulting from your transactions with us, or others; information resulting from member services that you have received from us, or others; information obtained from governmental sources ; and information obtained from non-governmental sources, such as demographic data used for marketing purposes.

We may disclose personally identifiable information about you to persons or organizations within or outside of the AHA as permitted or required by law including companies that perform member support services for us under a written formal agreement or with companies that perform marketing services for us or with whom we have joint marketing agreements. These agreements allow us to extend the value of your membership or provide you with special services or savings.  Information will normally be limited to name, address, telephone number, email address, membership number or member number, and membership tenure. Under certain circumstances, additional information will be provided to appropriate third parties, with your consent or at your direction, such as when you sign up for our member rewards program or, as necessary, to perform other services.  Information will also be disclosed, if necessary, to effect, administer or enforce a transaction, benefit or service that you have requested or authorized or to which you are entitled.  This includes such information as your name, address, telephone contact number, email address and other information deemed necessary to provide you with member services you have requested or authorized or to which you are entitled.  Other third parties with whom information may be shared include, but are not limited to, member services contractors, courts and governmental agencies.

We restrict access to your nonpublic information to those employees who need such information in order to provide products or services to you. In compliance with federal regulations, we maintain physical, electronic and procedural safeguards designed to guard and prevent misuse of your nonpublic personal information.

If you “opt-out” of any products, services or rewards you do not need to renew your “opt-out” with us. Your initial request will remain in effect indefinitely unless you contact us to cancel it. Any future changes to our privacy policy will be provided to you with a revised Privacy Notice and give you an opportunity to “opt-out” of any new information sharing. This is why it is very important to pay attention to every Privacy Notice you receive from us.

AHA provides you with a copy of the Privacy Notice when you establish a membership with us. We also send our Privacy Notice to all members on a yearly basis or if there are changes to our Privacy Policy. Finally, you can view and print a copy of our Privacy Notice from our website www.myaha.com


Internet Privacy Policy   

AHA is committed to honoring the privacy of the users of the AHA website, which includes any personally identifiable information. AHA will utilize any information collected to better understand its users' needs and provide better service. In addition, AHA will use the information it gathers to improve the content of the website. If any personally identifiable information has been volunteered, AHA may utilize that information to notify users about updates to the website and/or contact users for marketing purposes. The information that is personally identifiable will not be shared with or sold to any other organizations for commercial purposes.
