A Victory for Homeowners!

As all of you know – victories are not easy to achieve – in any endeavor. But a huge congratulations to the existing homeowners of America. You’ve been rescued….for now.

America’s Homeowner Alliance is pleased to announce a victory on your behalf.

50 Basis Point Refi Penalty Eliminated!

In the middle of last year during the COVID-19 Pandemic, the two giant government-controlled entities – Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac – instituted an eyebrow-raising new 50 basis point penalty on essentially anybody wishing to refinance their home when the lender was selling the loan to Fannie or Freddie.

Essentially, it was a new “tax on homeownership” instituted to generate about $9 Billion of new revenue for Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. That new revenue for them came right out of the hard-earned equity homeowners spent years building.

But – after working on this for the past 9 months along with several of our allies – we got the fee reversed. As of August 1, 2021 – Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac will no longer be stripping an extra 50 basis points out of your equity!

That $9 Billion belongs to you – not these government-controlled agencies.

Victories like these are like hand-to-hand combat… and the AHA fights on your behalf! So celebrate your victory!

There’s More Work To Do For Fair Lending Policies

There are so many more “battles” to come. And we’re there to fight for you. Because in Washington DC, “if you’re not at the table…you’re on the menu!”

The crusade continues…on your behalf…from your champions…

America’s Homeowner Alliance.
